The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating web graphics and HTML pages based on the marketing team's specifications. Must be able to work well with a team and take direction, creative cooperation and brainstorming are also essential functions. • Responsible for creating web pages, and elements based on marketing needs.
• Responsible for creation of branded advertisements, such as web banners and email ads
• Image compression and optimization
• Image cleanup and organization
• Must have a good sense of design, typography, and color
• Proficiency in Photoshop
• Knowledge of image optimization for web-targeted content
• Proficiency in HTML coding
• Proficiency in ess styling
• Flash animation, and/or ActionScripting proficiency is a plus
• Other computer language proficiency a plus
• Traditional art skills a plus
• Experience working in real world development environment a plus
• Experience working with content management systems a plus
